Pool House is well-known locally to be haunted and thanks to recent paranormal investigations carried out by Highland Paranormal and STUKTV, its reputation is spreading as a hot bed of spooky activity.
Over the years we’ve become accustomed to some of the recurring phantoms here. The valet who perpetually repeats his journey to the silver store; the melancholy young lady in the striking peacock blue gown on the first floor; the mischievous spirit who likes to hide jewellery; the heard but not seen pianist; and the mysterious presence on the top floor that seems to enjoy giving visitors a fright. Then there is the seemingly innocuous children’s room with its terrifying nocturnal activity at certain times of year. There is plenty for a would-be ghost hunter to explore here.
Join us on our spooky tours, Thursdays at 4:30pm and we will fill you in on all the stories about the house’s more permanent residents as well as some of the more creepy history and folklore of the area. While we can’t promise you’ll meet the ghosts in person, you’ll leave with some spooky tales and will be surrounded by fascinating curios – a true feast for the senses.
