Closed Fridays – Sundays

Set in The Rowallan Room our cafe offers a quiet place to relax and sample some tasty treats.

The Rowallan Room is named in memory of Lord Rowallan and his Highland Fieldcraft Training Centre based in this house during WW2. With its full-size antique billiard table, piano, ship’s figurehead and other naval memorabilia, the room has the atmosphere of a gentleman’s club.

We have a selection of salads, soup of the day, savoury tart, toasties and sandwiches for lunch. If you fancy something sweet we have scrumptious flapjacks, traybakes, scones, and cakes.

Enjoy a fresh ground coffee or a nice cup of tea, or herbal infusion.

Sit in and takeaway both available.

Curiosity Cabinet

We have a delightful gift shop set in a Victorian vestibule featuring locally made arts and crafts, WW2 themed books and toys, and traditional sweets.

We are proud to be an approved outlet for Benjamin Pollock’s of Covent Garden.
